So if you look into it, Jason Nevins went on to dabble in Rob Thomas remix territory. Don't have any of that stuff, but been diggin his EssentialVol. 2.
Some sort of weird dub version of this. Probably not even the best track on the record but I'm all about the little vocal drop just past 30 seconds in.
From a split 12" w/ Blancemange - this popped up on a Horse Meat Disco comp a little ways back. I like it dragged out a bit. Looks like they've got some other spaced out stuff to dig.
The Family Stand was originally known as Evon Geffries & The Stand - Evon for one member's mother, Geffries as a play one member's name, and The Stand in reference to another's favorite book. Didn't fly with A&R and they changed it up, but thankfully this remix did. Sorry for a little scratchiness.
Creepin with Laurie Anderson co conspirator David Van - both of these from These Things Happen. It's the kind of album where tracks bleed into one another - track it down so you don't have to listen to awkwardly segmented sections.
Filthy steady smooth - all the essentials in place working to full effect. Taken from the First Avenue Project EP, couldn't leave this up w/o the entry from Todd Edwards on the same release.
Literally no info this other than one side of the actual record has cartoon statue of liberty in a Marilyn pose holding a vinyl while the other has the male and female gender symbols. Generic looking cover says Import Music with the address St Jacobsmarkt 75 - 2000 Antwerpen. Posting other side at normal speed in the hope somebody knows - plus sort of bangs.
